Rivian R1S

The Rivian R1S is a fully electric and powerful SUV built for both its on and off road capabilities. The goal was to enhance its beauty and add ceramic protection.

To achieve this goal, the vehicle was fully washed with a decontamination soap, which included a hand-wash followed by chemical decontamination (iron remover) and then mechanical decontamination (clay towel). After the full decon wash, the vehicle was ready for polishing.

Polishing of this vehicle was done with a single step as there were minimal scratches or swirls on the paint that necessitated any correction. Polishing enhances gloss and then adding a ceramic protective layer helps to seal in that shine while also adding in chemical and UV protection.

I used several new products on this vehicle. Katiba, a South Korean car care brand, is new to the United States and I applied their 18-24 month ceramic coating to all of the exterior painted surfaces, trim, and faces of the wheels. The interior was also fully cleaned using Katiba products as well - All In One Interior Cleaner and Leather Conditioner were used to provide both protection and general cleaning.

Katiba’s products truly enhanced this vehicle and they were extremely easy to use.
