Toyota Highlander
The Toyota Highlander needed a lot of work both on the exterior and interior. The exterior had multiple scratches and swirls throughout the paint. In one of the photos below you can see the spider web type swirls which are usually the result of poor wash techniques or the repeated use of automated car washes. Anytime you have these kinds of imperfections in a vehicle’s clear coat layer, it greatly impacts the gloss of the vehicle as the light is reflected in all different ways.
To remedy these imperfections, I did a two step polishing process which uses a compound and polisher to smooth the clear coat followed by a high gloss polish to bring back the shine. The vehicle did look great after this work. You’ll also see the wheels and tires required some extra attention as well.
All of this enhancement work was sealed in with Gtechniq’s Crystal Serum Light (CSL) and ExoV5 stacked ceramic coating. This coating will provide about 3 years of protection if the vehicle is properly maintained. A full interior detail, including restoring old all-weather floor mats, was completed as well.
